Chen Meizhen, known affectionately as Meizhen, hails from the picturesque Wuxian County in Suzhou, a region renowned for its rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions. Her journey as an artist has been shaped by a deep-rooted passion for creative expression and a commitment to honing her skills.
Meizhen embarked on her artistic education at the esteemed Suzhou Vocational College of Arts, where she specialized in painting, a discipline that would become her lifelong vocation. Her formative years as an artist were marked by the invaluable mentorship of two distinguished individuals, Mr. Zhang Jixin and Mr. Lu Yifei, who guided her through the intricate world of Chinese painting. Under their tutelage, Meizhen developed a profound understanding of the nuanced techniques, history, and cultural significance of this revered art form.
Art has always been LEE’S passion. Aside from scribbling on whiteboards and papers at a young age, art is also her favorite academic subject in school. Her initial involvement in design and photography work has inspired greater breakthroughs in her artistic journey, particularly creative thinking, and observation of humans and objects. The discovery led to the creation of her FL.O.W method in 2019, which resulted in the fruit of her unique art pieces in the unchallenged genre of art. Surroundings, life stories, and events around her widely inspire the series.
LEE’s art captures the connection between humans and objects and the complex emotions and reality of the soul, often conveying a thought-provoking message concealed in a vibrantly unique artistic presentation. LEE has been focusing on pure creativity without any constraints since the beginning. The perseverance of her initial intention serves as the highest recognition and respect for her works.

ANGELINA BONG’S STORY
Angelina Bong was an avid doodler from toddler. Although she graduated with 9A1s in the pure science stream, she pursued Fashion by obtaining full scholarships to study Fashion Design and then a BA (Hons) in Business Management.
She fell in love with painting when she discovered Van Gogh as a Foundation Design student. She also started writing poetry after going through a chaotic phase in life, which eventually led her to represent Malaysia at the 3rd Delphic Games, Jeju in 2009. However, work got in the way of creating. She was working full-time in the Fashion industry when she fell ill with Fibromyalgia and moved back to her hometown.
As time was on her hands, she began to play with words and paint again. They gave her hope and a renewed sense of purpose as she navigated her pain through faith and making art. Eventually, her despair led her to her artistic vocation. Opportunities came knocking and she began to travel.
She sees herself as a pilgrim traveler, seeking the sacred in the ordinary and grandeur, both at home and in her travels. The more she opens her eyes and set foot on foreign lands, the more she sees that we are all not that different. She aims to celebrate diversity in humanity and explores the beauty in everything and everyone. Sometimes, she encounters the oppressed, the broken, and the voiceless and their stories teach her the meaning of life. She hopes to express that through her creations.
As she journeys through life’s rollercoaster ride, the more she believes that each one of us is made for a purpose by our Creator, and the earth is entrusted into our care. Our experiences include happiness and pain but they are not in vain. They mold and shape us as we find treasures in ashes. She wishes to show her ruminations through her works, so that people may catch a glimpse of hope even if it is just for a moment when they meet her art. She invites You to view her creations through contemplative eyes. Be still, and maybe just maybe, you can breathe, dream a little better, be inspired, or even be disturbed and make a difference in your lives.

I use Acrilyc’s ability to produce multiple levels of tones and effects to enhance the variety of patterns and styles. Space and form are very important because they carry a very deep meaning to a work. Through that, I produced abstract art on canvas with acrylic and mixed media to enhance the extraordinary impact of shape, interweaving, and space on the subjects painted. I am very fond of playing tones and lines to produce space and shape in my work because it contains significant value in an abstract of diverse and layered colors as an example of the rich and abundantly attached life of nature around me.
