“THAT is coloured pencils”? Is always the reaction I get whenever people see my work. They could not believe that mere colour pencils could produce such refined work.

Coloured pencil art requires lots of patience, more time consuming as compared to other mediums. I personally see this as part of a process which I enjoy very much and love the fact that a humble pencil can achieve so much.

This medium was once rather obscure but has recently generated a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm. It has recently gained acceptance in mainstream art abroad and I wish to introduce the uniqueness of this medium locally.
