I am Nicolas Marietee, 23 years old now, and I am a long time student at School of Sculpture at Bambous in Mauritius for exactly 13 years but I am still thirsty of learning.
In 2016 I have participated in Langkawi Art Biennale 2016 as a professional artist. I was just 16 and one of the youngest artist among the greats. This experience has taught me and helped me a lot during my professional life, social life and school life which I completed in 2021.
That is why I have no doubt that Langkawi Art Biennale 2023 will teach me more for the sake of my future. I am excited to come back to Langkawi as an adult now to share with you the Mauritius way of making arts again.
