I am Jacques Henri Dick and I have been a sculptor for 26 years.
I started woodcarving at 10 years old, because I was passionate about watching my dad, Lewis Dick transform dead wood into artistic work.
Since my young age, I had the chance to participate in local exhibitions. In 2007, I had the opportunity to participate in a sculpture competition in Switzerland where I won the public prize.
This award was a motivation for me to practice wood carving and since that I had participated in several artistic international exchanges such as France, Austria among others.
I give sculptor training to young people in my workshop ‘Ecole de Sculpture’ de Bambous and I work a lot on sculpture orders.
