Ilyas bin Din, a luminary born on August 11, 1958, in the culturally rich city of Kota Bharu, Kelantan, stands as a distinguished figure in the realm of artistry. Throughout his career in visual arts, Mohd Adzran has participated in numerous significant exhibitions. In 2023, he took part in the “Melayu Serumpun Visual Art Exhibition” at the Kelantan State Museum, the “Lambaian Kelantan VI Exhibition” at the Kelantan Art Gallery, and the “Affordable Art Exhibition” at Art Friend Kelantan, Kotak Seni, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The previous year, in 2022, he joined an exhibition titled “A Place Called Home” at Arch Bentong, Bentong, Pahang.

In 2021, Mohd Adzran held his third solo exhibition, “Lakarasa Seni II,” at Galeri Lakarasa, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. In 2020, he participated in the “Southeast Asian Watercolor Exhibition (PACA)” at the National Visual Arts Gallery, Langkawi, as well as the “Art Prosperity with the Community” program at Pulau Gajah, Kelantan, organized by the National Visual Arts Gallery.

Earlier, in 2019, he held his second solo exhibition, “Lakarasa Seni,” at Galeri Al Asr, SMK Zainab 2, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. He also joined the “Lakar Lukis Langkawi APS” at the National Visual Arts Gallery, Langkawi Branch, and the “Langkawi Night Camp” at the same venue. Mohd Adzran’s involvement in these exhibitions has solidified his presence in the visual arts scene, especially in Malaysia.

Pg Zoluaga graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of the Philippines at Quezon City, Philippines in 1980, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of San Agustin at Iloilo City, Philippines five years later.

He is a member of Hubon Madya-as Artist Group, Visayas Islands Visual Artists Association (VIVAA), Art Association of the Philippines (PAP), Lloilo Visual Artists Association(VAA), Philippines Association of Printmakers (PAP), as well as Artista kag Manunulat nga Makibanwahanon (AMBON). He also held the position of Chairman in the Visual Arts Committee of Arts Council of lloilo Foundation., Inc. from 1991 to 1993 and faculty member in Special High School for the Arts located in lloilo National High School for five years.

Furthemore, his talents have been recognised with numerous awards that he received was the champion for costume design during Dinagyang Festival held in lliolo City for the years since 1993.

Born in May 5, 1950, Nunelucio Alvarado lives at Pabrika, Sagay City in the Phillipines. He studied Fine Arts at the University of the Phillipines-Dilliman, and Advertising at La Consolation College School of Architecture and Fine Arts in Bacolod City. He was the founder of Pamilya Pintura, Pintor Kulapol, and an Art Director of Syano Artlink. He was a member of Black Artists in Asia. Alvarado was known locally and internationally for his mostly progressive works of art that depict the faces, plight, and struggle of the Negros-based sakadas (labourers hired from outside) and other marginalised sectors. He was also a founding member of the Concerned Artists of Negros and the Black Artists of Asia.

From these early experiences, an extraordinary talent began to blossom, allowing her to transform her emotions, perceptions, feelings, and life experiences into a vivid symphony of colors and shapes.

Vladimir Ryabchikov’s artistic journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and passion for the world of visual expression. Born in Russia in 1967, Vladimir’s artistic odyssey commenced with an education that would lay the foundation for his future creative endeavors. In 1994, he successfully graduated from Rostov State Pedagogical University, a significant milestone that marked the beginning of his formal artistic education.

However, education was just the first step in Vladimir’s artistic evolution. He wasted no time in bringing his artistic visions to life. Just four years after completing his university studies, he ventured into the realm of art exhibitions. His early works hinted at the promise and talent that would soon captivate the world of art.

As a participant in over two hundred group exhibitions in Russia and beyond, Vladimir actively contributed to various influential projects. One such project that significantly shaped his artistic trajectory was “Die Russen Kommen,” which spanned the years from 1992 to 2002. Currently, Vladimir Ryabchikov resides and works in the bustling and culturally rich city of Moscow, where he continues to draw inspiration from the vibrant artistic scene and the diverse tapestry of life in the Russian capital. As he delves deeper into the realm of art, he remains committed to his craft, striving to create art that not only reflects his own creative evolution but also leaves a lasting impact on the world of visual expression.

Lalit studied Fine Arts at MS University of Baroda, India, and completed both a B.A. in Fine Arts and an M.A. in Fine Arts, earning gold medals and distinctions. To date, he has participated in more than sixty solo, duo, and group shows in various countries, including India, Mauritius, China, France, Russia, and England. As a strong advocate of creativity, he has created sculptures, paintings, graphic prints, digital prints, and creative craftworks.

Lalit dedicated twenty-seven years to education, serving as a Senior Lecturer and training art teachers at the Mauritius Institute of Education. His primary contributions include teaching, curriculum development, and training programs spanning from pre-primary to tertiary levels. Additionally, he has approximately 23 years of experience as an assistant chief examiner for the Cambridge School Certificate examinations. Throughout his career, he has emphasized research and the implementation of findings in self-development. His work centers on humanity and its environment. As situations evolve, they introduce variety and freshness into his artwork. His thoughts are transformed into visual forms, making extensive use of movement and colours.

Daniel was born in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary, in 1981, where his artistic journey began. From a young age, he displayed a natural talent for creativity, often sketching and experimenting with different art forms. His early years in Zalaegerszeg nurtured his artistic sensibilities, and his family encouraged his passion for art.

He pursued a formal education at the University of Pecs, where he graduated in 1999 with a degree in graphic design. His time at the university was marked by not only academic achievements but also a profound exploration of art, honing his skills and developing his unique style.

Daniel’s artistry is deeply rooted in contemporary European art, with a focus on various mediums such as paintings, sculptures, and ceramics. His work is characterized by its distinct and captivating style. He is particularly known for his highly textured mixed media canvases, which are adorned with mesmerizing, yet simplified, faces. His attention to detail, particularly in the portrayal of the eyes, brings a profound sense of depth and emotion to his pieces. He also frequently incorporates animal shapes into his compositions, creating a fusion of human and animal elements that evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity.

Growing up in an artistically inclined family, Nanie Othman attributes her love of art to her father, who inculcated in her a strong sense of love for painting from a very young age. Born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, she remembers spending many school holidays in the early 1970’s visiting the National Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. As a Hong Kong based flight attendant, she continued this activity of visiting art galleries while on night stops abroad.

Initially a self-taught artist, Nanie started painting seriously under the tutelage of a local Malaysian artist in 2007 where she mastered the use of oil paints.

She favours painting typical Malaysian scenes. Architectural paintings of old kampung houses, local food and Chinatown shop house scenes are her forte, but she also produces paintings of vibrant landscapes, tropical flora and also abstract paintings in acrylics.

Nanie is now exploring different mediums and has discovered collage and silk screen printing as her new passion. While the results may not be satisfying on the initial tries, she finds that the sometimes imperfect effect silk screen printing produces is exactly what she is trying to achieve 

Nanie has been running oil painting classes at her home and had conducted acrylic painting sessions with much success at The Linc, Jalan Ampang in 2019 , where her multinational participants’ ages ranged from 4 to 80.
