• PARTICIPATING ARTIST

Mishko Desovski

It is not about whether we would like or dislike, agree or disagree with what we see as an artwork. But it should, would, and could be about what we experience and sense about the work of art that generate in us a complex idea of association on which we interpret our mechanism of meaning. Whether these meanings are socio–cultural, socio–political, historical, structured by the practice itself, aesthetical or if we like philosophical too, these construction are continuously tickling our visual and intellectual imagination. To describe Mishko’s works in one word, the discourse in my art practice and art philosophy is going to be open-end solution or sometimes, a two-way direction whereby the Audience versus Author or vice versa, so the traffic of communication could open an endless possibilities of understandings suggested by the idea of an ancient Latin expression that art is long, life short, judgment difficult, opportunity transient.
