Nathalie Perichon, born in Mauritius on the 3^rd February 1977, had a great interest in art since her childhood since 1983. She is a self-taught artist. At present, she is a freelance painter and has held several solo and participated exhibitions in groups in Mauritius and abroad, namely Morocco, Reunion Island, Seychelles, South Africa, France, Belgium, India, China, Russia and Norway where she had been also awarded among others. Her art paintings explain that these birds are exceptionally the endemic living birds in Mauritius which have been introduced at time of the Dutch, French, English and African immigrants who came to their Island, where they have these birds being protected by the Wild Life Organisation and also reflecting the migration to our Mauritian nature.
