Syahrizal Zain Koto is born in Pariaman, Indonesia in the year of 1960. He is an artist and sculptor where he received his education and graduated with his Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Indonesian Institute of Art in 1991. Throughout the years, he received many awards, mainly in Indonesia like Landmark Ancol and 3^rd in the abstract category of sculpture planning competition “Citra Raya Kota Nuansa Seni” in 1996. He has been actively involved in many solo and group exhibitions such as “Classic Works”, Griya Santrian Gallery, Sanur – Bali in 2012, “DIORAMA TUBUH”, Masterpiece, Building Jakarta in 2011, “DEVIASI: Horse series”, Sri Sasanti Gallery Yogyakarta in 2008 and many more.
