Chung was born in Hong Kong, and he was the former Principal Lecturer of the Art and Design Department of Grantham College of Education. In 1977, rewarded the Urban Council Fine Art Award (Printmaking), Hong Kong. Chung’s artworks had been exhibited in various exhibitions including 7 solo prints exhibitions since 1996 and over 70 joint exhibitions: Contemporary Hong Kong Art 1977; the Art award Winners Exhibition in 1978; Hong Kong Biennial Exhibition (Invited Artist) in 1979 &1992; Impressed Dimensions-the Art of Printmaking in 2001; the 16th National Prints in 2002 and the 17th National Prints in 2005; the Tenth National Exhibition of Arts China 2004. Chung’s artworks had been collected by Hong Kong Museum of Art, Regional Council Heritage Museum, Hong Kong College of Education, Anhui Artists Society, Guiyang Art Museum and private collections.
