Born in 1964, Zheng Yukui graduated from Shandong Academy of Light Industry & Fine Arts, majoring in Pottery & Porcelain in 1985. Then, he furthers his studies in the Create & Research Institute of Sculpture in Central Academy of Art and graduated in 1989. He is now a member of Professional Sculpture of Chinese Industrial Art Association and a foreign member of New Zealand Northern Pottery Artist Association. Galleries both in China and abroad, as well as private collectors have collected many pieces of Zheng Yukui’s artworks. His works are also quite popular and highly praised in Europe, where he participated in communion activities of art and sculpture in 2004. His artworks were displayed in various exhibitions like International Sculpture Yearbook Exhibition and The First Pottery Collection of China Art Museum in Beijing as well as China Arts and Crafts Master Works Exhibition in Hangzhou.
