Kamel Abdushukur is born on March 19, 1977. He graduated as an oil painting major from the art department in Xinjiang Art Institue back in 1999. He studied in Japan for a year in 2002. Now he is a professional painter of Xinjiang Art Academy, national third grade painter, and member of Xinjiang Artists Association. His works such as “ Mother’s Hand”, “Caravan”, “Oasis”, “ Mashirap”, “Old Tree” and so on were published in the newspapers and magazines and also chosen to take part in lots of state exhibitions. In 2005, he took part “The Twelve-men’s Exhibition” with his works as “The Eagle Dance” and “The Cock Dance”. In 2010, he was invited by The Cultural Department of German to take part in Morgenland Festival in Osnabruck for an oil painting exhibition, and reported by several TV stations and newspapers. In 2010, he held a personal oil painting scene exhibition and put 62 works on display with much media exposure.
