Hagop Sulahian
Born
in Beirut, an abstract artist, sculptor and environmental architect for
embellishing cities in cut ceramic, walls, tunnels, monuments, public gardens
and benches. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the American
University of Beirut and advanced his studies in museum architecture &
heritage building restoration from Portugal. He exhibited in collective
exhibitions in many Biennales, Salons & Art Forums in many cities around the world since and had four private exhibitions since 2000. He was
selected to represent Lebanon at the London Olympic Fine Arts exhibition and
received the Olympic Fine Arts gold medal in 2012. His works were also selected
for the 3rd and 5th Beijing International Art Biennale, and the 1st Ecorea
Jeonbuk Biennale, in Korea. His artworks are in permanent display in 5 museums
around the world and purchased by the President of Lebanon, Archbishops,
ambassadors and art collectors of his sculptures and abstract paintings.
