Liu Leming was born in Inner Mongolia, Erdos City. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department in Inner Mongolia Normal University during 1987. In 1997, he furthered his studies in the Central Academy of Fine Arts of the Ninth Seminar. He is currently teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts Department of Inner Mongolia University, holding the position as an Associate Professor.
