Tang Yeok Khang is a visual artist who specializes in painting with experienced design industry background. In earlier day, he was awarded The Best Student Award of Interior Design Department by Malaysian Institute of Art. His involvement in design is wide, from areas like interior to exterior and 2-Dimensional to 3-Dimensional. He is not satisfied with his part time involvement in visual art and decided to turn full time since 2009. He began to exhibit, travel and paint mainly in Asia and Europe regions. His works were collected by a few respective institutions, namely Malaysia National Portrait Gallery, Galeri Petronas, Penang State Art Gallery, Malayan Banking Berhad and United Overseas Bank. Currently, he is exploring new possibilities to use art to promote public interest and welfare in local communities, for instants through Sasaran International Arts Festival, 101 lost Kittens street art project and some special event in local and overseas universities.
