Hassan has his degree in University Sains Malaysia from 1998 till 2000. Currently, he is a lecturer in the Arts and Creative Industry in University Pendidikan Sultan Idris. Hassan is highly active in art associations, as a president of Angkatan Pelukis se-Malaysia from 2013 up till today. Back then, he was a Secretary for Persatuan Pendidikan Seni Visual Malaysia for years. His notable exhibitions were Konvokesyen MPSI exhibition, Former Students of SITC-MPSI exhibition, APS-PENTEL exhibition in conjunction with PATA, JPWP Historical Day exhibition, BSLN open exhibition, APS annual exhibition in Galeri Aps, Penang open exhibition, Text Message in NN Gallery, Pensel Warna exhibition in, Shah Alam Art Gallery. His works are collected by the Prime Minister, Bank Negara Malaysia and Bank Industry.
