Suzlee Ibrahim was born in Kuala Terengganu (1967), has shown a remarkable achievement in his 26 years as a painter and exhibited in more than 20 countries. In art education, Suzlee started as a part time lecturer at the School of Art & Design, Institut Teknologi MARA in 1993 and now lecturing at the Faculty of Visual Communication Design, Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan. Suzlee was awarded Outstanding Creative Excellence - Emaar International Art Symposium Dubai/ UAE (2005), Japan-Malaysia Art Friendship Ambassador - Ministry of Culture Arts & Heritage Malaysia & World Arts and Culture Exchange Malaysia/Japan (2007), Tokoh Seni: Anugerah Citra Kencana by the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2011) and Excellent Masters Award by Universiti Teknologi Mara Shah Alam (2013). Suzlee’s works are collected by corporate organisations and private collectors in Malaysia and beyond such as Remise Academy (Brande, Denmark), Brooklyn Art Library (New York), Emaar Properties (Dubai, UAE) and many more.
