Liu Siu Jane

Liu Siu Jane achieved B.A.(Hons.) degree in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong 1976, then she continued to pursue postgraduate course at the St. Martin’s School of Art, London, obtained the Higher Cert. in Painting and Printmaking and M.F.A. (Printmaking) degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago 1981. She was awarded “Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition 1985, (Winner Award of Printmaking), “Lu Zhun Printmaking Award - the excellent achievement in printmaking during 1999”,“Fellowship of the Artistic Development during 2000” and “The 7th Exhibition of Printmaking Bronze Award.”

Liu was invited as an artist-in-residence by The Hong Kong Institute of Education 2003 and as an artist-in-residence by Quanlan Print Shop 2004. She taught printmaking and drawing in universities and she was also the course coordinator of Specialist Printmaking Course of Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre since 2001.
