Wang Qiang is born in 1963 at Heilongjiang Province in China. He is a proud member of The Northern Wilderness Printmaking Group and actively engaging in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing. Throughout the years, he participated in many solo and group exhibitions, which include “WANG QIANG Solo Exhibition” held in Mulpa Space at Beijing and “The Path of Beauty” at Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House Museum located in Changsha. Domestic exhibition aside, he also had participate in multiple international exhibitions like “Simple Hong Kong” held at International Art Ltd. Exhibition Hall in 2007 and “Visible Spirit” held at Cypress College & Space Gallery in California, U.S.A as well as “Contemporary Chinese Art” at Zurich. His collection can be found in Tianjin Taide Museum, German Culture & Art Foundation, Central Institute of Fine Arts and Beijing Art Museum.
