Qiu Jun is born in Nanjing in 1965. He graduated from the Nanjing Arts Institute Oil Painting Department of Fine Arts Professional in 1992 and the Central Academy of Fine Arts oil painting classes seven years after that. As an artist, he has been involved in many exhibitions mainly around China since 1992. The exhibitions include China First Still Life Oil Painting Exhibition in 1993, the Third Watercolor Gouache Art Exhibition of China in 1995, the Sixth Oil Painting Exhibition in Jiangsu, the recent Asia Contemporary Art Show at Hong Kong and many more.
