Kim majored in Fine Arts at Youngnam University. He spent 10 years drawing editorial cartoons as an art journalist for both news and advertising agencies. He is currently working as a freelance illustrator and has done numerous illustrations in books and magazines. As an artist, Kim presents his artworks through private and group exhibitions every year.
