Zahrah Hosseini
Zahrah
Hosseini was born in 1980 at Shiraz, Iran. She lives and works in Tehran since
2001. With Bachelor of Arts in Painting from Islamic Azad University, she was
also a printmaking tutor at Nour College of the Arts from 2009. She is a proud
member of the Society of Iranian Painters (SIP) as well as Cutartists,
performance art group. She participated in various solo exhibitions such as Homa
Gallery and Haft Samar Gallery in Tehran and group exhibitions like
BAC-Batigment de fond d’art Contemporaine in Geneva, Switzerland and Spaceless,
Contemporary Art Museum in Esfahan, Iran. Furthermore, she participated in
many performances and light installations in Vesal Gallery for The Experiences of
an Amphibious Human in Shiraz, Iran.
