Len Zuks was born in Dwellingup, Western Australia in 1950. His father of Latvian origin, his mother from the Ukraine. He is one of seven children. As an artist and sculptor Len has met with much success and acclaim over many years in his chosen disciplines. He enjoys the reputation as an established artist from his peers as well as the public.

Len has judged art competitions over several years and is currently a judge on the UWA Second Life virtual sculpture competition. He conducts workshops for art groups in either painting, sculpture or drawing and works with groups in both primary and high schools. The result of such a program with school children from the Gingin District High School is a 16 metre mural depicting the birth of the universe, displayed at the Australian International Gravitational Observatory at Gingin in Western Australia.
