Salvador M. Convocar is born in October 13, 1959 at Quezon City, where he graduated in Bachelor of Fine Arts from U.E. School of Music & Arts in 1980. As a president of Art Association of the Philippines in 2008, he also participated in many exibitions that recognise his talent such as solo exhibitions at 1/of Gallery, Serendra 2008, Gallery 9 SM Artwalk, 2006, West Gallery SM Artwalk, 2005, Renaissance Gallery SM Artwalk, 2004, and many more. He also actively participated in major group exhibitions such as Asian international Art Exhibition, Ayala Museum in 2005, Hotel Intercontinental Berlin, Germany in 2005, Stedelijk Wereldcentrum, Brugge Belgium in 2005, Korea Biennale 2004, Danwon Museum in South Korea, Asia Art Festival, Insa Art Plaza at Seoul in 2004, Expressions-Pinoy, Phil. Center at New York in 2000 and many other international group exhibitions.
