
Bhavani GS is a multi-disciplinary artist from Kodagu, currently based out of Bengaluru. Trained as a painter, she also works with moving images, photography and site-specific land art. Besides showing her ecologically conscious works in galleries and festivals, she also does Interactive works in public spaces to raise awareness for the natural environment. Among her long-term projects, she has sustained an artistic engagement with the River Cauvery and her tributaries since 2009.
She has been to several residencies in India, Germany, Lithuania, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, New Zealand and is the recipient of selected grants and awards.
